In conjunction with the Hermes Expo International, Hellenic Medical Society sponsored the Third Annual Hippocrates Seminars: Community Health Symposium.
Medical Experts from within the HMS and the Region discussed various public health issues such as Stroke, Medical Interactions, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology and Vitamin D Metabolism. Following each presentation, a question and answer session occurred and various questions were directed to the medical experts.
Speakers include Dr Mike Moussouttas of Jefferson University Hospital, Alexia Tsikouras, PharmD, Dr Chris Tzarnas of Temple University Hospital, Dr Elias Iliadis of Cooper University Hospital and Dr Ellie Kelepouris of Drexel University College of Medicine
Additionally, the Board of Directors has selected Dr Ellie Kelepouris, Chief of Nephrology at Hahneman University Hospital as the 2012 Distinguished Physician and award presented at Hermes Gala Dinner.
