The Board of Directors of the Hellenic Medical Society of Philadelphia wishes to recognize a physician or allied health professional of Hellenic decent who embodies the ideals of clinical excellence in their profession and service to the community service.
For 2013, Hellenic Medical Society of Philadelphia has bestowed our designation of Distinguished Physician on Dr Charles Yeo, Professor of Surgery and Chairman of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College. Dr Yeo has a long career of clinical distinction in surgery and has grown the clinical and academic divisions at Jefferson into a national prominence.

City NJ and gave an excellent presentation on the impact of health care reform on academic medicine.
